Program Manager

Lalit Kumar Purohit has extensive experience in administration, education programs, and community initiatives, having worked with various organizations across Rajasthan over the years.

At CITTA India, he supports program operations and works closely with school and community initiatives. He is passionate about community engagement and enjoys building meaningful relationships with people from different walks of life.

Lalit enjoys interacting with community members and learning from the people around him.

Himani Singh
GYAAN Fellow

Himani Singh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT). She has experience working with young children and is passionate about creating engaging learning environments that encourage curiosity and participation.

As a GYAAN Fellow, she works closely with children and communities to support foundational early years learning and holistic development. She enjoys using creative and activity-based approaches in her work with students.

Oma Prakash Genwa
GYAAN Fellow

Oma Prakash Genwa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and has several years of experience working in education and community-based initiatives across Jaisalmer.

As a GYAAN Fellow, he works with students on languages while engaging closely with local communities. He believes education plays an important role in building confidence, creativity, and opportunity for young learners.

Varsha Sharma
GYAAN Fellow

Varsha Sharma holds an M.Sc. in Physics and a B.Ed., and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education. She has experience working with students across different age groups and is passionate about making learning meaningful and accessible.

As a GYAAN Fellow at Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls’ School, she supports children in strengthening numeracy skills and peer learning through engaging classroom practices and community-centered learning.

Varsha believes that education can empower young girls to grow with confidence and curiosity.

Praise Michael
Program Manager: Academics

Praise Michael holds degrees in computer applications and has several years of experience in education and community development. Her work has focused on supporting learning initiatives, digital education, and programs for children and young people.

At Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls’ School, she works closely with academic programs and fellowship initiatives, supporting learning environments that encourage growth and participation.

Praise believes every child has unique potential and that education can help nurture confidence, creativity, and opportunity.

GYAAN Fellow

Mukesh holds a Master’s degree in English and comes from a small community in Jharkhand. He is passionate about making education accessible to children in underserved communities.

As a GYAAN Fellow, he supports students through classroom and community-based learning initiatives, with a focus on science and experiential learning. He enjoys creating engaging, activity-based learning experiences for children.

Harshit
GYAAN Fellow

Harshit works as a GYAAN Fellow, supporting students through classroom and community learning initiatives with a focus on Hindi language learning.

Having worked in Rajasthan, he brings a strong understanding of the local context and enjoys creating engaging and inclusive learning spaces for children.

Rajendra Singh
Administration

Rajendra Singh, from Jaisalmer, supports the day-to-day administration and transportation needs of the school. Known for his reliability and dedication, he is always ready to support the school community whenever needed.

Manohar
Administration

Manohar comes from a local village near the school and supports the administration and daily operations of the school. 

He also assists with transportation and enjoys contributing to student-centered work.

Moru Devi
Livelihoods Team

Moru Devi, from Kanoi village, works with the livelihoods team, supporting women through stitching and embroidery training initiatives.

Through her work, she encourages and inspires women from nearby communities to learn new skills and participate actively in community initiatives.

Sabhai
Embroidery Trainer

Sabhai works as an embroidery trainer and supports women through community-based skill-building initiatives. She is known for her fine craftsmanship and enjoys working closely with women from nearby villages.

Gyan Jyoti Chaliha
Livelihoods Team

Gyan Jyoti Chaliha is a textile designer from IICD Jaipur with experience working on craft, livelihoods, and community-based initiatives. She has worked closely with artisans and women’s groups on skill-building and product development projects.

At CITTA India, she supports livelihood initiatives with a focus on design, creativity, and community engagement. She is passionate about combining craft, learning, and sustainable development through her work.

Mid-Day Meal Team

Rekha works as part of the school’s mid-day meal team and supports the preparation of nutritious meals for students. She plays an important role in ensuring children receive fresh and healthy meals each day.
